Children require mediated and guided experiences with digital media for the experiences to translate into positive and productive digital literacy skills; this requirement holds true across a wide age range of youth.

Ohio Digital Media Training is made possible by the State Library of Ohio with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The seven partner library system's in the Media Mentors program use the same train-the-trainer teaching model and curriculum. Each partner library system will hold one training session for its staff members before September 30, 2016, and one regional training session for the staff members of other library systems before December 31, 2016. |
